Memios is World Leader in Pneumatic Automatic transportation of MSW, Linens of Hospitals and clearing of Dustbins at Airports & Railway Stations through Stainless Steel Pipes with the help of very high air velocity. This ensures that there is no manual handling of the Waste. Memios is focussing exclusively on designing, implementation, service, and modifications of these systems since the year 1999.

Career profile & Experience
- Service with Indian Air Force (Armed Forces Medical Services) at the field & staff level for about four decades. Important assignments included Additional Dir Gen Armed Forces Medical Services (rank Air Vice Marshal), and Director General Medical Services of the Air Force (rank – Air Marshal). Awarded Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) by the President of India (2001).
- In Service courses: Aviation Medicine Courses (1964 & 1968), Junior Medical Officers’ Course (1965), Senior Medical Officers’ Course (1969), Defence Services Staff Course (1974), NBC Warfare Course for Senior Officers (1993). Medical Officers’ Courses included training on inventory control, quality assurance, supply chain management (including drugs and pharmaceutical forecasting, quality verification, and inventory management and maintenance) etc.

- DRDO Project to study mutagenic effects in hospital waste. Project completed in 2002.
- WHO-IGNOU Collaborative Project to develop Certificate Training Programme for SEA Region Countries – July 2004 to April 2005.
- DST project under USERS Scheme to write a monograph on hospital waste management – July 2004 (HR/UR/2003). Project completed and a book – “Managing Healthcare Waste – a Practical Approach” published in 2007. ISBN: 81-87966-61-0.
- Consultant with PPG, DFID aided Project for Procurement and Capacity Assessment of Medical Service Organization – RCH II. Project completed and report submitted.
- Consultant with PPG on World Bank aided Project – NACP III- March 2006 to May 2007. Project completed and report submitted.
- Appointed Chairman ‘SUKHDEV VIHAR’ Committee by Govt of NCT of Delhi – Dec 07 to January 08 to look into complaints of the residents on health concerns allegedly caused by a nearby bio-medical incinerator. Report finalized and submitted.
- Conducted external audit of 10 identified hospitals of Delhi on waste management – practice and technology – a Delhi Govt project Sep 2008 to March 2009. Project completed and a report rendered.
- Organized annual conferences – ISHWM Con 2010 at Delhi on 30th and 31st Oct 2010.
- Consultant to Voyants Solution Pvt Ltd in a UNICEF supported project to strengthen healthcare waste management in 5 District Hospitals in the state of Jharkhand, India. The project was completed, and report submitted within the specified time (2012).
- Currently researching on three topics of interest:
